AN IN-PERSON NETWORKSHOP IN PHOENIX
Small Talk to Big Opportunities
Get clear on what you need, learn how to ask for it, and connect with people can help.
Most networking events give you a name tag, a beverage, and a room full of people—then leave the useful part entirely up to you. This one gives you a practical way to use the room.
Small Talk to Big Opportunities is a hands-on networkshop where I’ll help you turn a current goal, challenge, or half-formed idea into a clear ask. Then you’ll put that ask into action through guided conversations designed to uncover helpful people, introductions, ideas, and next steps.
Wednesday, September 16 | 3:00–5:00 p.m.

Save My Seat!People cannot help with a need they cannot see.
I’ll guide you through a practical process to identify what would be genuinely useful right now, shape it into an ask another person can understand, and practice saying it without sounding stiff, salesy, or like you memorized a networking script in the parking lot. Then you’ll test it in the room.
The goal is not to leave with the largest stack of contacts. It is to leave with stronger connections, clearer possibilities, and real momentum toward what comes next.
More than useful ideas. You’ll leave with something you can use.
By 5:00 p.m., you will have:
- A clearer understanding of what you need right now
- A specific ask you have practiced saying out loud
- New connections who understand what you are working toward
- Ideas, resources, possible introductions, or next steps generated through the room
- A simple way to follow up without sending the dreaded “just circling back” message
Come if you are ready to create opportunities!
You will feel at home here if:
- You want to meet people in Phoenix without making the afternoon f feel like a performance
- You are building a career, business, project, team, or idea and could use the right support
- You know you should ask for help more often, but tend to make the ask too broad—or avoid it entirely
- You are comfortable helping other people, yet somehow forget to make it possible for them to help you
- You are tired of networking that produces plenty of contacts and very little movement
Practical, participatory, and worth leaving the office for.
Here's what others had to say about this event:
I have spent a career helping people get clear, get noticed, and create better opportunities.
Before I taught networking, communication, and career strategy, I cast contestants for Wheel of Fortune and recruited talent for Riot Games. Both jobs taught me the same useful lesson: the way you communicate who you are and what you need can change what happens next.
Today, I speak and train on networking, visibility, confidence, and career growth. My advice has reached more than 16 million views on YouTube, and my work has been featured by outlets including ABC7, CNBC, and The Muse.
